David Wood joined the Willowbend Team in 1994 as an assistant golf professional and in 1999 became the Director of Golf at the Westin Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Puerto Rico. The property was a part of the Willowbend family at the time. In 2002 David was promoted to General Manager of the Country Club and in August of 2005 returned to Willowbend as Vice President/ Chief Operating Officer. He is a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America and has a strong background in management and the golf industry. David's wife is Andrea Wood and they have two children, Delaney and Nate.
Andy Berler

Andy joined Willowbend in 1993 as the Director of Tennis. Andy has brought Over 20 years of teaching and management experience to the Willowbend Team.
Andy's teaching resume runs the entire spectrum from introducing the game and his passion to beginners, as well as a history of success developing top ranked juniors at the sectional, national, high school, and college levels.
Andy holds the highest of certifications with the United States Professional Association, as a Professional 1. Through his many years at Willowbend, Andy's creative and innovative Tennis Programming has kept the tennis program as the most active on Cape Cod, and a highlight of every season.
Andy takes great pride in the charity work that he has established. In 2004, using the popular Willowbend Pro-Am Invitational as a vehicle, he helped raise over $100,000.00 in one weekend for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Most recently, Andy has shifted his charitable goals to The Friends of Dana Farber to help benefit a cure for Pancreatic Cancer.
Ann Marcotte

Willowbend's food & beverage department is managed under the direction of Ann Marcotte and her management team. Ann has specialized in the hospitality industry for the past 20 years. She has enjoyed management positions at various venues including Sheraton Hotels and is familiar with the all aspects of the Country Club industry.
Ann is originally from Cape Cod and resides in Barnstable with her husband and 3 daughters.
Harvey Bloomfield

Harvey Bloomfield has been at Willowbend since 2004 where he started as a Maintenance Technician and has been the Director of Building Maintenance since 2007. He has a strong background in Facility Operations and Maintenance. Harvey has completed training in HVAC Technology and is also the Club’s Certified Pool & Spa Operator. Harvey and his wife Cathy are the parents of three grown children and have one grandson. Originally from the Worcester area, Harvey and Cathy moved to the Cape as full time residents in 2004 and reside at Popponesset Beach, Mashpee.
Jim Maddalena

Jim Maddalena, has been with Willowbend since its inception. With his current assignment as Golf Course Superintendent, Jim brings his superior knowledge of the game of Golf with him everyday in order to create a perfectly maintained course for our members and their guests to enjoy.
Jim holds many club championship titles, and has played in 5 of New England’s six different State Opens, was the first winner of the Tucker Anthony Golf Tournament, and is well known for playing in the Cape Cod Pro-Am, and New England PGA Leagues. Further south, Jim has won the International Four-Ball, Bermuda Goodwill, Rio Mar Invitational, and the Caribbean Classic.
Jim was born and raised in Centerville, MA, and lives there with his wife Robin. Jim and Robin have three children, Joey, Andrea, and Lacey.

Nicole has been with Willowbend since January 2001 as the club controller. She has a strong background in golf operations. She resides in Sandwich with her fiancé and daughters. She attended University of Massachusetts in Boston, Massachusetts
Paul Cunningham

Willowbend’s unique dishes are prepared by one of the nation’s finest young culinary talents, Paul Cunningham. Chef Cunningham’s background includes Executive Chef at Bice, in Washington, DC and Executive Sous Chef at Le Cirque and La Cote Basque, in New York. Chef Cunningham was recently nominated as one of North America’s top-rated chefs. Chef Paul has been with Willowbend for 18 years.
Peter Smith

Pate has been married for 37 Years and has two daughters. He graduated from State University New York at Albany with a B.A degree in History and Political Science with a minor in Business Law. He was the Director of Environmental Services at Cape Cod Hospital from 1978-1984 and was the Director of Housekeeping at various Long Term Care Facilities from 1985-1995. He has been working for Willowbend since 1995.
Rick Johnson

Willowbend is proud and excited to welcome Rick Johnson as new Head Golf Professional. Rick worked at the Hyannisport Club for the past 32 years. The first 31 as its Head Golf Professional and one year as Director of Golf. Prior to joining the Hyannisport Club in 1980 Rick was an Assistant Professional for three years at Pinebrook Country Club in Weston, Mass. He also served as an Assistant Pro at Framingham Country Club and the Weston Golf Club. He also spent time in Florida where he worked at The Yacht and Country Club in Stuart, Florida and Frenchman’s Creek Country Club in Juno Beach, Florida.
Rick has served every aspect of the Cape Cod Chapter of the New England PGA from President, Tournament Chairman and Treasurer over his time on the Cape. He was a term Vice President representing the Cape Cod Chapter on the Board of the New England PGA. He was presented in 1995 with the New England PGA’s award as Private Club Merchandiser of the Year and in 2007 was honored to be selected as the New England PGA’s Golf Professional of the Year.
Rick was a 7 year member of the Town of Barnstable’s Advisory Golf Committee, 1985-1992, which was instrumental in the planning and development of the Old Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course.
Rick's wife of 25 years is Ellye Johnson and she is a 5th grade teacher in the Town of Yarmouth. They have a son David who’s 22 and daughter Hailey who’s 16.
